Early spring in Delaware

As with a good part of the east coast, spring has been very slow to come this year.  I have been anxiously watching my yard for signs of survival after our harsh winter, and now I’m beginning to see some progress.  Here are some pictures I took on April 9, 2015.

  1. Hurray for spring finally arriving in Delaware! I’m going to try to grow some Blue Lobelia inspired by your success. I’m curious about your dwarf goldenrod. Did you get plants somewhere?

    • I won the plant in a raffle last May, and it didn’t do a whole lot last summer, just a few blooms. I’m hoping it will do better this year now that it is more established.
